Boomer with his 2009 SBGRC Gandalf Comstock Euphoria CDX WCX Memorial Trophy:

Boomer went on to collect his RE title and one RAE leg in 2010 before having to retire due to arthritis and tendinitis.
He received the SBGRC Triplecreek Duke Veterans Trophy in 2010.
Boomer n Friends, L-R: Boomer,Gladys, Faelan, Towhee, Casey

By 2011, Boomer wasn't eligible to run our club's fun trial anymore.
Dog Skool Teecher let us use our training session to set up our own:
The "AARP (American Association of Retired Petdogs) Fun Trial" scenario.
Here's Boomer with his trophy and ribbon:

Boomer still likes to go where we go and do what we do, but at 13, he can't do everything, especially in humid weather.
This Fall we had a perfect activity for him, helping to man the table for our obedience club at the Blessing of the Animals Ceremony at St George's Episcopal Church:

Now that Boomer's been blessed, we look forward to another wonderful year with the man of the house.
I can't imagine life without him.
